Hi everyone,
The past month i've had the car getting done with a full MK7.5 front end facelift. I've already done all the MIB2.5/AID and rear lights/bumper. Just needed the front doing.
Only problem is the dipped beams are the only ones working. Front indicators, high beam/flash & DRLs don't work.
I've been told I need a new 'Range Control Unit' from a 2017+ facelift golf. I have purchased one of these which should be here in a few days (as of 31/12/2018) . The part number for this unit is: 3Q0 907 338. Certain people have said if I plug this unit in, I should have front indicators, DRLs and low beams working. Just not high beam/flash. This i'm okay with until I can figure out how to get that feature working.
Does anyone have any experience upgrading to the new headlights? I've gone for OEM because I want the bend light feature to work as well as the cornering light feature. Will I need additional modules for this to work? Keep in mind it worked on my factory xenon R headlights.
Any help would greatly appreciated!
