Performance monitor fix

I just got an email from VW stating they have completed the fix.

Just saw a post on reddit saying the fix will be available tomorrow.

that was actually a concern when I was out looking at the Rs. Mine came with the monitor installed...

I don't use it either but I can see why the guys who don't have it would want it "just to have it". It was supposed to be there and they got left behind for whatever reason.

I like having the Nav screen in the instrument cluster, so having the performance monitor on the radio screen is nice. I can keep an eye on the oil temps.



I do find VW's choice of gauges odd though, as a kW power gauge and G meter aren't nearly as useful as an oil pressure gauge and a voltmeter. Plus it'd be nice if the boost gauge was a proper one that read inches of vacuum and positive manifold pressure.
