if you autocross etc or just carry an extinguisher
I Witnessed a Ford powered RV have a starter stay on this week. Owner tried to shut key off and nothing as it was the starter solenoid stuck on we eventually found out. So it just kept on running. So power wires etc started to heat up and someone nearby was a fireman and ran over as my friend was coming over with some vice grips and disconnected the cable.The fireman showed us a trick, They keep a set of side cutter pliers taped to their extinguisher so they can cut a power wire if needed. An electrical fire will keep starting if the wire is still flowing power he said. So I'm taping a set of side cutters (Dykes) to my extinguisher now.. thought it of use.
