It does not cause it to rattle. All the clips are exactly the same and you can position them around the window as you please. I think there are supposed to be 4 per window, but one window has 3.
You could probably get a replacement clip from the dealer. It’s not something I’ve investigated since I’ve had no issues with the one missing clip.
