Well, the loose plug may have fixed it, but I'm still not happy with the timing.

https://datazap.me/u/globalrebel/cobb-stg-3-rs7-91?log=0&data=5-9

That is my COBB STG 3 with RS7 plugs and 91 octane (no e85). While I know I didn't give it 100% throttle until like 2900/3100 rpm, the two tunes seem to produce the same amount of ignition retard. The COBB is @25 PSI and the MAP is @23 PSI.

I've gone to different gas stations and still see the same problems. :-( It drives me crazy seeing people with like +5 iginition timing when I'm negative almost all the way through! lol

I know you mentioned you ran a little bit of e85 back on the MAP tune... Should try to add a gallon or two before taking more logs to see if it continues to clean things up.

I'll throw in 2 gallons of E85 and top off with 91 and then wait a day for everything to mix. Will take some more logs and then look at the results. At this point, after fixing the spark plug, I don't see any knock retarding until like 5500 which to me points to bad gas. If I saw the knock happening through the powerband, than it could be a rattle being misheard as knock.

GRRRR . . . California gas just SUCKs.

Been awhile since ive been on the forum.

Was bored after work and my tank was pretty much bone dry.

Went to the gas station and filled up 50% 93 octane and 50% E85

I think my mods are in the signature.

Decided to put on the Cobb stage 3 93 octane tune and wanted to see what it would do.
So I did a 60 mph pull to the top of the rev range.

For what it is, it seems to have ran pretty smooth.

I uploaded my data log here: datazap.me/u/wordsthatiwrote/cobb-stage-3

Not 100% sure what it all means in conjunction with one another but i didnt see any knock retard.

Just curious of your thoughts on this. Thanks for your time.

if you can add target boost pressure in the settings and run another log. would love to see how it compares to my one.

Ok, so I decided to replace the RS7 plugs after looking through some notes of how long I had them for (20K miles), and I think it helped clean up some knock and such. Below are my COBB STG3 ACN91 w/ 2 Gallons E85...

Let me know what you think. Yes I know I don't 100% throttle it in some till like 3300, but I was TIRED when I did these on my way home last night. I'll get more tonight from 2500 :)

Hey everyone - looking to get some feedback on a couple logs! I have MAP Stage 1 OTS tune on my practically stock MK7. Just have the MAP intake installed, other than that no mods. Here are a few pulls:

I didn't get to full throttle on either one because of the shaking I was experiencing. Looking at the logs there seems to be a lot of KR on all 4 cylinders. What are peoples common fixes for this? Anything else jump out at you from the logs?

something isn't right. are you running the correct fuel for your tune? Your AFR is quite lean
