I am running Stock DP+Intake, IE IC, IS38 JB4 setup on my GTI
How do you like it? Any Dyno or 1/4? Did you had ic and tune on is20? For comparison? Planning on going fbo with is20 first but depending on numbers with is38 and jb4 to tune could swap turbos. Thanks in advance.

Simply imo. I now have a jb4 with stock everything, BUT if you’re going to get an IS38, your warranty is already gone... might as well get at least a DP and a proper tune for it.

Yeah, blew up the 1.8 a while ago and replaced it with a GLI engine (or at least the bottom end).
For those curious it’s a better candidate since the 15-18 GLI didn’t have VVT like the Gti & R. The 1.8T also lacks VVT
