It was installed before and I didn’t realize that it updated. I’ve had it for years and it never made any sound like that. Escort firmware may have added it and I didn’t notice it.

I’ve had it shut off. And it would be odd to get overspeed while stopped.

If I put my iPad on the passenger seat it would set off those bells. Somehow the car thinks someone is unbuckled in the passenger seat.
Easy to test.
