Hi all,
I’ve just noticed 2 issues with my car that may well be linked somehow but not sure what is wrong.
First a few weeks ago I noticed a loud almost snapping / clunking sound when I was raising my passenger side window, only the last 15/20mm when it happens.
But yesterday I noticed my passenger side keyless system has stopped working. This followed a rather ear piercing snapping sound from the window being raised by a friend who I forgot to tell not to use the window.
Now I can not lock or unlock my car using keyless on the passenger door. The driver door still works perfectly for locking and unlocking.
Just thought I’d put some feelers out about these issues before I set some time aside to strip off the door panel and have a look.
It is a 2016 16 plate GTI.
