Michigan area mechanics

Anybody in or near lower Michigan capable of or know of a person or shop that is capable of wastegate adaptation and turbo installation on a mk7 for a fair price? I have somebody willing and able to work on the project come warmer weather, but I think I have enough stacked on our plate Mods wise for the car and would like to get the kit on sooner if possible.

I’ve had really good luck with German Auto service in Grand Rapids. They have done some of the more involved installs for my R and just completed a timing chain for my step sons MK6 GTI. They are a Unitronic Dealer as well.

GAS will do it, but you'll need to talk to them about getting the parts. They weren't thrilled with the idea of installing a non VW turbo when I inquired.

I have heard great things about VAST if you are on the eastern part of the state. But western I got nothing.
