Thought it's no use to spend so much time with pictures/codes/descriptions if no one finds it useful / reads it / etc :) Maybe I'll post a quick update this week once I get it back from the dealership.
There's a ton of parts/pictures and I really don't know how many should I post, lol.

As we have few members from Romania I would think many would be interested.
Good pictures, some city/country pics.
Unless one tries, one never knows how they will do.

Ok then, trying again, part #2 :)

Will try keep it short as it's a very long list until today.

16.06.2016 - Door warning lights + OEM LED footwell lights on the rear

27.06.2016 - Already 2500km and still learning things

02.07.2016 - First track day - best way to get to know your car!

09.07.2016 - Second track day - Damn you Pirelli!

29.09.2016 - Another track day. This time with Michelin Super Sports, new pads and Motul RBF660 brake fluid. Car was running 350PS with a DTE powerbox.

19.10.2016 - Now the real fun begins. Parts start to arrive.
  • VWR R600 intake + pipe + elbow + muffler
  • VWR Catch Can & Oil Management System
  • VWR 3" full turbo-back exhaust, non resonated, valved (by Milltek)

23.10.2016 - First day installing some serious mods.

Thoughts on the VWR Sport Springs: a bit too bouncy and lower than expected. Lost a step in terms of comfort, like DCC @ "Comfort" with these springs feel like "Normal" mode with stock setup. "Normal" feels like "Sport" etc.

11.12.2016 - Installing TTRS front brake kit, VWR Intercooler, VWR Muffler delete

Intake temps went down by a lot and no lag detected.
The Muffler delete adds a little bit of turbo noise (in a good way)

About the brakes:
- stock 7R brakes: 19.3kg/wheel (brake disc 10.7kg + 8.6kg caliper)
- TTRS brakes: 17kg/wheel (brake disc 12.1kg + ~5kg caliper)

Total piston diameter is about the same so the stock ABS pump is good to go.
3.14159 * (60/2)² = 2827.431mm² for the stock calipers
3.14159 * [(44/2)² + (40/2)²] = 2777.166mm² for the TTRS calipers

Stock Pretorias need a minimum of 9mm of spacers in order to fit over these brakes. Used 12mm H&R to obtain about 3-4mm clearance.

21.12.2016 - Winter is here! :) Winter track day

02.03.2018 - MRC Stage 2 + new wishbones and front subframe from Audi TTS 8S

MRC Stage 2 got me 393 PS and 555 Nm. Not bad but need to do something to hit 400, LOL :)

Audi TTS 8S front subframe + wishbones

Stock 7R subframe: 11.8kg
TTS 8S subframe: 8.4kg
Stock 7R wishbones: 5.4kg/each
TTS 8S wishbones: 6kg/each

So... at last the stamped steel weighs less than aluminium! At least I reduced the flex and got better bushes :D

10.03.2017 - Summer tires&wheels, TTRS brake cooling fins and rear lower wishbone guards.

These Pretorias look mint with white calipers behind them

TTRS brake fins:

1x 8P0 863 149 B - Air Duct left
1x 8P0 863 150 B - Air Duct right
2x N 104 222 03 - M8x50 hex bolt with shoulder/flange/washer
2x N 907 611 02 - M8 hex nut with shoulder
2x 8J0 864 133 A - M8x25 (18mm O/D) Spacer sleeve alloy

Stone chip guards:
1x 5Q0 511 533 A - Stone chip guard left, black rubber
1x 5Q0 511 534 A - Stone chip guard right, black rubber
4x N 909 203 01 - Rivet nut M6
4x N 911 335 01 - Hex head bolt M6x18mm with washer
4x 8E0 825 267 - Plastic spreader rivet

05.04.2017 - SuperPro front endlinks + 034Motorsport front strut mounts and OEM bearings.

The VWR endlinks didn't last long before starting to fail so I decided to go with one of the best in the business.

(later I removed these mounts due to a lot of clunking noises - OEM FTW!)

06.05.2017 - One of the best pictures I ever had

14.05.2017 - 16.000kms and another Track Day - testing setup
Trying Pagid RSL29 front brake pads with Ferodo DS2500 rear pads - GREAT setup - can't recommend it enough!

17.05.2017 - Neuspeed arrived! 8x19" ET45, Satin Bronze.

10.06.2017 - Spulen Charge Pipe Kit

Stock pipes have a smaller diameter and some restrictions inside (probably to reduce noise)

Not a "so good" fitting for Spulen but managed to get it right.

Difference: a lot more noise while spooling and better throttle response!
Also went to the dyno right after and I got 412PS/560Nm !
I would say I'm stage 2+ now, hah.

Dyno run here

15.06.2017 - Tarox rear brake discs! 310x22

27.07.2017 - Wortec Cast Aluminium Oil Pan

From their specs:
  • Cast Alloy Construction
  • Extra 1L Oil Capacity over OEM
  • Lowers Oil Temp 8-15 Degrees C
  • Stable Oil Pressure While Cornering

Stock plastic pan: 0.8kg
Wortec: 3.4kg

25.08.2017 - deAutoLED reverse LED lights

03.11.2017 - MSS Sports Adjustable Spring Kit

These perform far better than VWR and they are also adjustable! Highly recommend them for factory DCC/Magnetic Ride setups! Comfort feels like stock but with reduced body roll.

30.11.2017 - OEM Mk7.5 Dynamic LED Tail lights

Before/after:

02.12.2017 - Some more protection & improved aerodynamics (by reducing drag)

  • 1x 5Q0 825 229 C - Lining (cover) long length
  • 2x N 038 549 4 - Black plastic push rivet A04A
  • 2x 8E0 825 267 - Spreader Rivet
  • 1x 5Q0 804 421 B - Reinforcement for tunnel (Brace)

And the last pictures for 2017

2018 started strong and after some small bits and pieces, some serious stuff was fitted

VWR DSG Paddle upgrade

VWR Oil Dipstick

01.03.2018 - Girodisc TTRS front brake discs + Stoptech rear discs + Ohlins Road & Track coilovers

These are 8kg compared to stock 12kg!! Not to mention the huge cooling difference

Stoptech rear brake discs to match the fronts (Tarox rusted like sh*t anyway)

Ohlins R&T

These are looking so well I could hang them on the wall, haha

Pics with everything fitted:

Can't say I ever valued a suspension so much! Ride is firm but beautifully controlled. They react so fast that driving over a pothole is even better than before!!! I ordered RS3 rear springs because their closest kit was for Mk7 GTI (a much lighter car)

24.04.2018 - Back to a clean look!

Then I thought it's too clean, LOL. Racingline side strips added

24.05.2018 - Thought bronze doesn't match anything so I switched to Neuspeed Satin Black

Keeping it clean - Black&White

12.08.2018 - deAutoLED D3S 5500K Xenon Bulbs

deAutoLED (left) vs stock (right)

deAutoLED (left) vs 7.5R with Factory LED headlights. Pretty close, more than pleased with these!

23.08.2018 - Bought a used right side trunk trim and moved the parts (lamp and 12V socket) on my left side. Some cutting and hot glue needed but all went well.

Used deAutoLED Stage 3 trunk LEDs

21.09.2018 - OEM Mk7.5 Wireless Charging retrofit

Lucky me I already had the GSM antenna in the center arm rest. All I had to do was re-route existing cables towards the front, under the dash, fit a new connector and some coding.

Also fitted some ambient light there

10.12.2018 - Last parts to arrive this year
  • SuperPro Engine Mount Kit (TRC2001)
  • Fluidampr Engine Pulley

And the most important one: OEM Mk7.5 Akrapovic exhaust

Final post leaving history behind...

Early 2019:

ECS Tuning Center Tunnel Aluminium Skid Plate Kit

Mk7.5 Discover Pro

Autotech HPFP and NGK Racing spark plugs came in - preparing for a stage 3 :D

Akrapovic exhaust fitted. Take a look at how a Milltek exhaust looks like after two years

Now we need to make it look as good as it runs and sounds!

Oettinger Front Spoiler + Splitter

Oettinger Side Skirts

Now I need some mounting pucks to protect those skirts. Fitted Audi A3 ones.

Fitted Mk7.5 rear bumper (will need it in order to mount a diffuser that fits a facelift exhaust)

Oettinger Rear Diffuser (well, if only I knew this won't fit Akrapovic...)

Exhaust cut-out is too small for Akrapovic and ETKA won't warn you about this when ordering this diffuser on a VIN belonging to a factory fitted Akrapovic car! Perks of being the first to try this...

I'll need to modify it. Hope all goes well!

Let me know your thoughts about everything and feel free to ask about anything (except invested $$ haha). I'll try to post details if asked / at least what I can remember.

First post with full mod list updated!

Been a little busy!
I actually like the wrap version.
I also have Girodisc and like them much but for DD I would rather not have the cut slots.
On the O34 mounts they have added a washer with the new parts. So far it has performed smoothly. But with your current set up you do not need them anymore.
Your brake deflectors are different from most. I see they bolt on.
Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, those slots are a little noisy when braking from higher speeds. Other than that, nothing negative to point out on these!

I removed the TT RS LCAs because I had rubbing issues (these are longer by about 10mm each) no matter what I tried :( Now I lost all that added camber and I'm looking for some adjustable camber plates suitable for DD. Any thoughts on this?

Brake deflectors were the old TT RS (8J) version. You were probably seeing current RS3 (8V) that fit on current (steel) LCAs. Those are the ones I'll get for my stock LCAs.

The add 1 degree of camber (think I am right, been a while). Should be same length, but research, which sounds like you do.
I am 1 inch lower and use 235/40R18 in summer. Never and issue.
