You can, although it's not very common. The labor you'd pay to cut the rotors would be probably the same price to just buy a new set. Rotors are really cheap these days.

Fluidamprs are awesome, I've had one on my mk6 built car for years and no regrets. I thought it smoothed things out quite a lot and you really do feel it working.

If you live in an area with shitty roads I'd avoid DWS tires. They are notorious for having soft sidewalls. Go with something stiffer unless you like...

You're probably getting used to it and your muscle memory has set in. Put it in 5th, go about 50 and floor it to redline. If it doesn't slip on that test it's most likely fine.
