I actually have a set of Pretoria's on my GTI. No issues but yes if you hit a good sized pothole doing 80 you make crack or bend the wheel. Same goes for shitty cast wheels though.

If you order your car with them then yes they come with wheel locks. They aren't required or come stock with them if not paid for. They are absolutely useless.
