No. That one replaces the factory duct and draws right from the front area this would go.

This should work with any intake that still utilizes the factory duct though.

I put 19" Cadiz wheels on my GTI and love the look. Ride quality takes a small hit, but the steering feels sharper, so it's a good trade off in my opinion and it's still not what I would call harsh....

From the looks of it, I'd guess pedal to the floor with no resistance and the clutch wouldn't disengage at all. That looks like a catastrophic failure where you'd loose all the clutch fluid.
