Usually every manufacturer tries to cut corners on mid cycle refresh models. I wouldn’t be surprised if they skimped on insulation somewhere...we know hood pad is gone on most 7.5 cars etc..

The base system is decent but can be easily...

The only negative impact I can see on the axles is operating angle, but I don't think it's that significant to cause any issues.

Check how many months is left on bumper-to-bumper warranty, since it's 2015 probably few months if any.
Personally if there was a structural damage on record I'd look elsewhere.
