I am sure I am disturbing you... But now ( I think I need something like this to connect it to the blue socket (pins 3,9,7) Then should it be connected via usb to the device with a terminal emulator? Thank you once again

I found your comment and the (yours) following post It necessary to dismantle the box and connect the pins at the second picture? I need to tell it to some electrician because I am total layman. Hi there, came across your post about the android app you are making. Are you interested in an iOS version? I'm down to partner up with you and develop the iOS version. Thoughts?

    Yes, I used 20103.
The only reason I am trying to get in to the discover pro is to see if there is any way to add the google earth to the nav function.
I have enabled Carnet in the main menu, but I don't get any license from the server so I am stuck there. So I was hoping it was a function inside the green menu to enable the google earth like it is in Audi MMI 3G.

Tried to change it today when I came home from work with my micro-can on vcds, but the channel wouldn't change. Properly have to have VCP instead

Could you please tell which module (5f?) and the name of the adaption channel?
Edit: Just looked trough my 5f dump, is it "developer mode"? If it is, I cant believe I haven't seen it before! :P

Sorry I meant to write how you did, didn't read through what I wrote. Tried yesterday with holding the menu button but I only managed to get to the first mode. Read somewhere else that you should hold the menu button for 20sec and then the enginering menu should come up. Only thing I heard was a little beep but the menu didn't chamge :/

Can I ask you have you enabled the engineering/testing/development mode on the discover pro?
