marveling at ur mods...great work. since u seem so knowledgable was wondering if u came across a part # for the full set of blank buttons down right of shifter (LHD) for 15 or 16 MY and if that part is just trim or could be used as a blank button replacement on another switch module...I've exhausted all my parts search spots

    Hey Dave,

I uploaded a couple of pictures to my smugmug relating to the underbody panels.

This is what the 5Q7 aluminum underbody piece looks like.

This is what the 5Q0-Q looks like next to the 5Q7.

At the front edge the two are quite different how they engage the carrier/bumper assembly. The 5Q7 has a large fastener hole at each of the two forward corners that the 5Q0 does not.

The 5Q7 prefix suggests that the part is actually intended for or from the Golf Cabriolet. Audi is just using the piece in the A3 cabrio which is sensible as they are both MQB convertibles. Typically 7 in that position indicates some sort of special version often a convertible version like 8N7 or 8J7 or 8S7 are all TT roadsters.
