The wheels are currently at Smith VW being replaced under my wheel/tire insurance package that I purchased through VW direct when I bought my Alltrack in April. I will have them back in my possession the week of 11/16-11/20.
the picture is from before dropping the wheels off, and is of the most damaged wheel (one of the ones being replaced)
What you would get:
(2) brand-new/never mounted Ultraleggera's
(2) brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ tires, mounted to the 2 new wheels by TireRack direct (so pretty much guaranteed perfect balancing)
(2) used Ultraleggera's, both of which had minor curbage after 50K miles of use on the car. The finish + rash is being repaired on these. Neither of the used wheels have any structural damage, which is why they're being repaired not replaced
(4) aluminum, OZ-branded hubcentric rings
(20) ball-seat lugs, extended length for deeper offset
(2) used Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ with approximately 20-30% treadlife remaining.
