Matt, you should also mention that you have a boost gauge and that's why you have that "T" fitting with your AEM 5bar and boost tap. For those, like myself, that don't have a boost gauge, you would connect the 5bar MAP sensor directly to the boost tap.
What boost tap do you recc? i dont have one, looking for it jus tto run my 5 bar AEM

Incluye:
Los 3 conectores
Fijado e impermeabilizado
La longitud es de 12 pulgadas de largo.

* EL SINTONIZADOR REQUIERE UNA SINTONIZACIÓN PARA EJECUTAR UN SENSOR DE MAPA DE 5 BARRAS *

Piezas adicionales necesarias
Sensor PUT de 4 barras, pieza # 0281006059 (Bosch) # 03K906051 (OEM)

I had a hard time getting my hands on a wiring harness to run the Aem 5 bar map sensor so I can push boost over 30 psi. So I decided to make my own and will make some for others.

Price is $37 and includes free Continental US shipping.

Why would you run the 5 bar instead of the 4 bar some people are running? I think Ed does a good job explaining the problem and symptoms.

Includes:
All 3 connectors
Pinned and waterproofed
Length is 12inches long.

*A TUNE IS REQUIRED BY YOUR TUNER TO RUN A 5BAR MAP SENSOR*

Additional parts needed

I currently run at 27psi, (Though sometimes I do see it touch 28psi) I am planning on upgrading to a Vortex Standard or XL. I don't know if I need to exceed 28psi, but would running this 5 bar still be a good idea?

So if I am running OEM currently, I need the AEM 5 bar and harness correct?

Additional parts needed
4 Bar PUT sensor part #0281006059 (Bosch) #03K906051 (OEM)
This part confuses me

You need to upgrade 2 sensors, the put location 4 bar is what is needed to be able to request over 29psi and the 5 bar map location is for a secondary type of fueling calibrations for the ecu in addition to the AFR.

Also though we are no longer bound to ONLY the aem option for the 5 bar map anymore since eqt created a 1for1 solution also.
