Will a Jb4 group 1 work on GTI

As the title states, will a group 1 jb4 work on a mk7.5 GTI? Looking at picking up one from a forum member at a reasonable price, but unsure if it will work on the GTI as only the R and S3 are listed under fitment.

Yes. Says all EA888 MQB engines.
