does anybody know the width of the rims/wheels that the r comes with in 18's?

the gti is 7.5".

curious if the width is the same or a bit wider. i'd like to maybe put different rims on, but stay with the oem width for 18's.

thanks for any replies.

I'm pretty sure the stock 18" Cadiz are 7.5" in width as well (the 19" Pretoria are 8")

Hope that helps

I read an article in a forum somewhere that the Cadiz style alloys are available in 19" in some markets. My opinion is that 19" would be better suited to that style.

What a difference an extra inch could make eh?......story of my life!!

i really prefer 18 inch wheels. i have my mind set on some oem vw wheels from motorsport. but, they are 7.5" wide. on my audi i had 18 by 8's.

1/2 of a inch seems to be the story of my life.

thanks for your reply. it made me laugh too. :D
