Hi all. My partner is looking to buy a Japanese imported 2014 Mk7 with the 1.4L blue motion variant. We've test driven a few mk7 varients but this one came with the larger 8" screen. As you can see on the photo, the soft plastic is peeling so was hoping to replace the whole media unit.
However after scouring the whole internet, I've become more confused because apparently the earlier mk7 come with a 5.8" display on the MIB1 system. But this one is the larger variant so I'm stumped on either it's MIB1 or MIB2. If it's MIB2 then we'd be able to upgrade it to the newer 8" one with CarPlay.
