where to stiffen a GTI?

So I've read through some of the forums only to see you wanna stiffen this you don't wanna stiffen that but then others say the opposite. My current plans are to get tires, apr rsb and springs. I know very little about suspension however I am mechanically inclined. I know basics like rsb is going to reduce understeer ect and what you can expect but for example unibrace, strut brace, or rear brace (hatch brace) individually or together I haven't the slightest idea what is "too much" for a spirited daily. Please school me on decreasing understeer and stiffening up the car a little without wasting my money..

I have front and rear STB's on my Golf-R. I think they're compatible with the GTI..(?) The front made a noticeable difference, the rear made a noticeable visual difference (vanity). I don't know maybe it did make a difference. Car feels solid though.

Does your GTI have e-LSD?

Too much or not too much is totally up to your subjective liking. We can recommend the parts, but how you perceive the ride quality is something only you can determine.

Some options.

Unibrace UBQ very under rated.
But hard to find. Group buys have all but stopped. Some used ones sell but you must watch forum a lot. Threads need pictures.

Buy an aluminum engine block and relocate the battery to the hatch. Maybe add some negative front camber. Or just buy a RWD car.

I have VWR springs, 034 Camber plates and bearings on front, Koni yellow adjustable, 034 rear mounts, Neuspeed 25mm RSB, and Tyrolsport subframe inserts front and rear. I daily the car and rides a little firm but is a blast to drive.

If that's what you prefer. I prefer a little firmer suspension that makes handling predictable not the horrible understeer the GTI has stock.

whats spring n coils you got? I have spulen comp springs and with PS4s tires I didn’t have crazy understeer, for me adding the 25mm RSB was not nearly as noticeable for me when I already had springs and good tires. Still was a good mod cause the ST bar was a great value.
