Where do I find one of these?

A piece of my headlights went missing. It's no wonder I had such bad condensation. This rubber boot covers a hole. I believe it acts as a vent. I can't find a part number for it.

Probably have to buy the whole thing. Or find a junkyard.

Story: three weeks old, my GTI ends up with the front emblem stolen. OK, so get a new emblem...but it doesn't come with the black inlay backing it needs.

And that part, that ten cent part, is NOT available by itself from VW. Not in any way. The only way VW sells that part is attached to a new grille.

All the time, people say to me--"hey, your logo is gone!" Yep. And that's my opening to tell the story.

I'll tell that story forever. Guaranteed I'll tell that story to whomever buys it when I'm finished with it, be it private sale or trade-in. Let them deal with it.
