Wheel upgrade. Fitment questions.

Hi folks.
Had my mk7 gti for a couple of months now and loving every single minute I've been in the car.
I am now looking to do a couple of mods.
I have already ordered some new springs which should drop 25-30mm and should be fitted sometime next week.
Next is some new wheels. I am a rookie when it comes to wheel offset, wheel width ect so thanks in advance for your help.
I have been looking at wheels which are 19" et45 8.5j 5x112
Would these fit the gti? Or would I have problems since I will be lowering the car? Currently on the car are the 18" Austins.

that size should be alright for your car and ride height....just make sure to get the correct tire size....i would recommend 225/35/19 or 235/35/19

Thanks for the reply.
I think I will order some Bola b1's 19x8.5.
Hopefully they will look good on the Mk7.

I have seen RSW installed some HRE Wheels with the size of 9x19 using 255/??/19
they did not specify the Wheel ET and the tyre height size I guess 35
and the last setup of JP performance is 9X20 also with 255 width

What do you think about the ET

but also one think he had install it with the Brembo BBK brake, it would change something on the ET
