Hey guys,

So I have 18x8.5 et45 wheels for my R, but I am struggling to find 10mm wheel spacers that fit them. The issue is the chamfer size on the center bore of the wheels.

So far I have tried ECS Tuning and 034 motorsport wheel spacers and neither of them fit. There's a very slight gap between the face of the spacers and the back of the wheels, maybe 1mm.

Anyone on here running 10mm spacers or larger on these wheels?

Do you have the gap after torquing the lugs down? Or just test fitting the spacers to the wheel?

Could just be a very tight fit, but I don't think I would want them that tight. The spacer might get pressed into the wheel to where it would be difficult to separate.

Did you try putting on the wheels without the spacers? Just wondering if they clear the hubs on the car. Sorry I don't have any other ideas, never had that issue with any spacers I've used.

Is the center bore of the R hub the same as the GTI? I tried some 12mm spacers and they do not fit. The center bore is too big and the spacer is not deep enough for it to fit flush with the hub. I emailed BFI about their 10mm spacers and they said it'll fit...so I bought them. I haven't tried test fitting them yet. I can test fit them this weekend and see if they work.

They should be the same. I had an issue with corrosion on my hub preventing the spacer from sitting flush, but hit it with a wire brush rq and was able to get it on.

So I did a test fit...and it does not fit. It does look like it clears the center bore...but it does not clear the dust cap.

I know 15mm will fit...that's what I'm using with my 18in Tarmacs. The 10mm was supposed to be for my 19in rse102. Back to the 8mm I guess.

I don't have an issue with the spacers fitting the hub, I have an issue with them sitting flush on the back of these particular wheels.

Black Forest Industries.

What spacers do you have...and they clear the dust cap?

I'm looking for 10mm spacers for my Neuspeed 102's.

Don't you have to remove the dust cap for 12mm to fit on the some versions of the rear hub? that's why ECS has a 12.5mm version with a closed cap

Honestly...I have no idea. I don't think I've come across any product description that specifically tells you to remove the dust cap. Now I've seen some spacers that are not open ended. Maybe those are the ones that want you to remove the cap...and the spacer acts as the cap. The only reason I went with the BFI spacers is that when I emailed them...their rep said that its "confirmed" to fit. I mean it fits over the hub...but it bottoms out on the cap...just like the eBay spacers I've tried. 15mm are the only ones that I've tried that is deep enough to clear the dust cap.

H&R makes a version of the 10mm spacers specific to the rear. I run 10mm front and rear on my RSE10s without issues.

That's good to hear. Can you link the ones you have? There seems to be a lot of different version of H&R spacers

So I tried 10mm H&R spacers and although they fit the rear hub, they do not fit the wheels themselves. Same issue again, there's a gap between the face of the spacers and the back of the wheels.

Just to summarize, so far ECS, 034 Motorsport and H&R wheel spacers do not fit these particular wheels.
