Wheel hop

What’s the sure fix for ending wheel hop upon takeoff. Rather have tires spinning than the car sounding like it’s gonna blow up

Good tires and stiffer mounts go a long way. Most people start with the dogbone and eventually upgrade all the engine and trans as well. Stiffer bushings in the control arms help too but it can lead you down a long rabbit hole to try and eliminate completely.

BFI stage 1 mounts and insert totally eliminates it for most people. I have none with either winter or summer tires. It breaks loose cleanly with the TC off.

Better tires, dog bone mount, disable traction control with VCDS or ODB11. These items resolved it for me.

BFI Stage 2 mounts, LCA (or just LCA bushings), and good tires.

is38 and my car absolutely will not wheel hop.

For those ballin on a budget just a BFI dog bone insert and a little throttle modulation (as mentioned above) is all you really need to minimize it.
