Wheel considerations

I think I've narrowed down some options for new wheels. I'd be looking for lighter than stock, although with initial round it's more of a budget approach so may not be 'lightweight'. Below are what I'm looking at. It'd be on a Cornflower Blue Rabbit.

Leaning towards RF03RRs, Myths, or Ultraforms. Maybe Trofeo 5s.

Konig Myth with Blue (18x8 43 offset - 21.3 lbs)
https://www.carid.com/konig-wheels/myth-gloss-black-blue-tinted-clear-coat-716929790.html? Lighter than stock, but not lightweight. Not 100% sure how this blue would look against the car's.

Revolution Racing RR07 in blue (18x8 40 offset - 25 lbs - not much lighter)
https://www.carid.com/konig-wheels/myth-gloss-black-blue-tinted-clear-coat-716929790.html? Similar to Konigs, cost a bit more, rather like the Konig pattern a bit better.

SuperSpeed RF03RR (18x8.5 offset 45 - site says 35 but they supposedly have a 45 in images on a GTI - 18.1 lbs - depending how much more the 'custom' is might see about a blue highlight like the Konigs if they're game for it)
https://www.super-speed.ca/flowform-rf03rr Either Matte Black or possibly a 'custom' gold (see below). A bit over the budget range but lightweight. Probably higher shipping.

Sparco Trofeo 5 (18x8 offset 45 - 22.6 lbs - Special/Closeout so might not be available, but they're cheaper if they are)
https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whe...&autoModel=Golf+GTI&autoYear=2019&autoModClar= I'm rarely the type to go for a gold wheel. So not sure about it. But with the light blue I'm thinking it might actually look pretty good. Plus one of the sites has some black and gold badges that could go well with that combo. Would that be too 'look at me' or think it'd blend well?

Enkei Icon (18x8 offset 45 - 23.55 lbs)
https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whe...&autoModel=Golf+GTI&autoYear=2019&autoModClar=

Konig Ultraform (gloss graphite or gold) (18x8.5 offset 42 - 18.59 lbs)
https://www.carid.com/konig-wheels/ultraform-gloss graphite-305477451.html

BBS SR Himalaya (18.8 offset 45 - out of stock for now - ? lbs - should be lighter)
https://www.carid.com/bbs-wheels/sr-himalaya-satin-gray-815415225.html

To go along with them for now I'm likely getting some Falken Azenis pretty quickly, going to try for the 245/40R18 (I think?). Mostly central/southern Cali driving on the coastal side for now. Can see about winter wheels later if needed.

Just a heads up, the Ultraform won't have that concave look like pictured in their example. I had a set on my Focus ST in our typical offset, and they are virtually flat.

I vote for the SuperSpeed RF03RR. Great company, good guys, and a very good wheel for the money. I believe the 2019 version of the 03RR comes with bead knurling like the new RF05RR so look out for that. The custom color options are really expensive, so manage your expectations on that one.

Thanks. I was guessing probably the case on colors but I'll probably ask. If it's not a full wheel maybe a bit better, but it's certainly not required either way.

Not bad, and not as dark as a lot of bronze wheels seem to be. Looks darker on CarID though so not sure which way that goes. Normally I'd prefer that but with the brighter blue I'm leaving towards a brighter gold if I go that route.

On the Konig link, click the blue Media tab, and you can see other angles as well as a Youtube video showing how it looks in different lighting.

I think those Trofeo 5 would be a bit much. If your going for color, I'd go a bit darker like a bronze, though on the CFB, personally I'd go with black to offset the brightness of the car.
