Wow, a lot of previous Honda and other Jap cars seem to be taking the plunge. I think the MkVI is responsible for getting a lot of non VW owners into the brand.

Got 85k on my 2008 GTI and it runs like a champ. Within the year I'll be going either MkVI GTI or R. What wonderful cars the GTI's are :)

all the idiots are killing....KILLED the honda scene. i've been a honda guy my whole life:
1st- 1988 Honda Prelude Si
2nd- Acura CL 3.0
3rd- 1997 Honda Civic EX (stolen, recovered, rebuilt, many attempts after)
4th- 1994 Honda Civic DX hatchback(2months)
5th- 1997 Honda Civic CX hatchback(1 year, few attempted thefts)
6th-current car

my girlfriend had a hatchback too, 1998, so many times that car was almost stolen, closest was in front of my house popped the hatch, and the hood, alarm scared them off. scene has been slowly dying for a while now. i'm glad im gone. main reason i didnt buy another honda. now i just have to find some meets and meet some VW/euro guys.

my favorite last car,

BMW 335 Convertible... But I'm loving my 2011 GTI w/ Autobahn. I just can't understand that the lights don't have an auto cut off feature!

Here's some old pics...

2005 Scion xA

This car was a lot of fun. I learned how to properly drive a front wheel drive car in this thing. It was very light and easy to toss around. I had Koni shocks on it and Falken Azenis tires, so it stuck very well.

I love my new GTI though. It literally does everything the xA did but better, and is far more comfortable on the highway and on long drives. The xA was a great car though and gave me 90k trouble free miles.

2009 Pontiac G8 GT. 6.0L engine. Fast as hell. Would spin tires all day and chirp going into 3rd. 0-60 in 4.9 seconnds. Lots of room and looked cool. Had borla, intake and mild tune. Sounded awesome. Only 16mpg. Also GTI is $250 a month cheaper. My go fast toy is a 07 honda interceptor VFR 800.
