Yeah I could've done a cleaner install of mine if I weren't such a putz, but I'm not redoing it now. Same thing with the MPI kit. Sean/SCSkunkwerks sells one that grounds to one of the posts for the engine cover, very clean look and if I were to do it again that's the way I'd go.

e: speaking of tariffs, does FedEx publish anywhere what the expected timeframe on paying those is? They didn't provide a due date or anything, and I'm not sure how long I have to pay this stupid fee.

The entire thing is a mess.

I tried checking their import tool to see what tariffs I was hit with to total $124 on my $220 injectors. While I don't agree with the tariffs in general, it is what it is. But I at least want to make sure what I'm getting billed for is applicable (like getting billed $75 for a 'heavy duty' tariff on the turbo, which shouldn't apply). But when I log in, it's not there. I can see the entry from the turbo, which I can't even pay online anymore, if I wanted to. You only have 48 hours from when they give you the initial link to pay online. After that, they send you a paper bill. The automated response from submitting the claim said it can take 15 - 20 business days to process.

At the very least, I'd check what tariffs you were hit with. If you have the 25% Heavy-Duty 9903.74.08 tariff, I'd submit a claim form in the interim like I posted in Alex's build thread.

Yeah, I've got that bookmarked because I had the same cost tariff total. I got a second email today, so I'll file the claim form and see what happens from there. BTW, doing the lord's work posting that form
