Passing the torch.
Passing the torch.
Picked up a set of Koni Special Active dampers over Black Friday.
(Snip bunch of other nifty stuff...)
Free…??? You know the rules, it’s $3 PayPalYeah....., you don't want those KSA's...
Horrible, just horrible.
Tell you what, your soooo much better off just keeping the Ohlins so you should just go ahead and send the KSA's to me for free! I need some crappy shocks for..., um......, an experiment.... yeah, experiment, that's the ticket, yeah.......
I'm just that nice of a guy that I am totally willing to help out another forum member like this!
I am confused by these struts. How are they "active" yet "not adjustable"?Picked up a set of Koni Special Active dampers over Black Friday. Plan is to go back to stock springs with these and keep the EuroSport camber mounts up front. I have Ohlins road and track on now which feel awesome when pushing the car, but decided the ride is too busy for daily duty. When I get around to doing the swap those will go up in the classifieds.

you are reading into the name... I guess they should have called them "reactive" instead. They react to the movements of the car adjusting the valving to reduce undesired movement. I think they used to be called FSD when they came up with the technology.I am confused by these struts. How are they "active" yet "not adjustable"?
Are they "active" in the sense that they work with the cars Active Chassis Control (ACC) system? If so, where do the electronics connect?
If they do not work with ACC, and they are "not adjustable", then how are they "active"?
Makes no sense to me...
