@El_bigote_AJ You're right, d*** move on my part, got excited and in a hurry. It will not happen again.

The shop is called NextGen Auto. I don't know where in Canada they are this is from the tracking, I was not convinced it was real until it got here...

It doesn't quite stay open the way I suspect OEM might and it definitely still has some room to spill if you get wild with pouring. But it looks better 😂 now I gotta find a few other caps to simplify in the bay.

Edit: Looks like OEM is indeed designed different and would allow for more aggressive pouring. So this isn't 100% as cool as one might hope -- but for being not a blue part, I'm alright with it.

Edit2: I'm dumb, it flips up and works like OEM.

I fully intended to yell GATEKEEPAAAAAAAA!!!

Then I saw the company name in the picture... so is SoundQubed now called Sound Authority? I run a SoundQubed amp for my sub. Ran one in my sub-aru and liked it so running one in the Golf now.

As an aside, my BM MKV plays low and loud, louder than I'll ever listen, and can be heard outside the car... turns out if you don't connect one of your RCAs between DSP and sub-amp you SERIOUSLY cut the output :rolleyes:.

Haha!!

To be fair this wasn’t a regular product, I asked them to make it customs and after 23 (legit) versions we came to a layout I liked lol.

He’s just a car audio shop in FL that’s a dealer for that brand, what he does in house it’s custom box’s and plexi.

Haha! Yeah you cut the output in half lol.
Guess it’s a good thing we talked about so it made you even take a look at it. That’s the way it’s supposed to be! Ability to be Louder than you ever need, just like hp/tq you always should have it way faster than you ever need or use 😃

That's dedication. I should say the guys at NextGen Automotive did have a couple 3d prints that came out "absolutely brutal" they said, haha. I didn't request pics, but they got it right before sending me anything.

Gotcha... I have no place for Plexi (at the moment) but that's good looking work.

Yeah, not sure when it happened... but I'm thinking when I had everything to get brackets installed for the external soundaktor.
And since I never listen to anything loud I didn't really notice until I tried to listen loud after seeing your new subs.

Not sure the TDI meets that bar, haha.

To clarify the revisions were to digital files when working through the design, CNC was only once. Measure 70 times cut once 😀.

The pattern is available through a few different fabric makers online and it all seems to range between 45 to 75 a yard. This ones is def and perfect match for factory texture, pattern, color wise but maybe I just had a bad batch from the seller I used cause (mentioned in the what did you do thread) mine was wavy and I’m not sure if the machine boogred up or maybe when it was getting connected to the foam backer is had funny stretches.


Also - etsy has many seller that could make that case for you also with the Material.
