Retrofitting is a lifestyle?

Recently got a new kitchen (after 19 years). Decided on a dishwasher from Siemens. Sure enough they had 3 trim packages as the MK7 had: S, SE, Autobahn. Since we liked the performance package of the SE, but weren't interested in all the options of the Autobahn, we went with SE. The dishwasher got delivered and installed. Compared to our previous dishwasher it didn't come w/ the extra "cup shelf" at the end of the lower basket. The installer said "you should have gotten the Autobahn trim instead!". Sure enough my wife wasn't happy. Luckily the parts page of Siemens is pretty good. Of course the lower basket itself is the same part number in all 3 trim levels. 18,44€ later the missed "cup shelf" parts were ordered. They came in yesterday, and fit like a glove. Happy wife, happy life :)

I'm just a Neuspeed whore. These will go on the "winter" set of MPSAS4's and the PS4S's will stay on the RSE 10's that I had powder coated Bronze Chrome. The packaging from Neuspeed was excellent btw.

Those look so nice, the only reason I didn’t get those is because of the killer deal I got on some mint used RSe10s.

Bump stops and strut bearings to replace the front struts on the Alltrack. Now I have to decide if I want to wait and do the rears at the same time or do the fronts now, and the rears at a later date. Potentially requiring two trips to the shop for an alignment. I don't have any hardware (or shocks) to do the rears yet.

Decided to add 8mm spacers to my Enkei TS-V (18x8 et45), in the rear only.
Front does not have spacers. The tires are 225/40/18.

I used the Velt Sport “no lip” (for aftermarket wheels) spacers from UroTuning, and still used the hub rings (72.6 to 57.1) on top of the spacer.

I gotta say, it looks good.

…But I’m still in the nervous “pucker phase” as I’ve never used spacers before. I’ll see how it does on the short drive to work tomorrow haha.
You shouldn't have any issues, but if you want to be extra certain re-check the lug bolt torque after a week or two. If everything feels good and they haven't loosened, you're golden. I ran spacers on a couple cars for a number of years, no issues as long as the hardware is correct.
