And? Happy?
First impressions, it’s much smoother than the Cobb tune was, especially taking off from a stop. It seems way more throttle based rather than speed based for up shifts. Cobb would not engage 6th until 46 and 7th until 62 no matter what. Eqt doesn’t downshift nearly as aggressively as Cobb did which might mean more brake wear since the engine braking isn’t as much. So far I’ve only driven 24 miles to work and I’m still on my break in oil so I haven’t given it the beans yet. Oil change this weekend and then tuning starts.

You're really going to like it in Sport mode.

Well it's getting cold and dark again. Time for the yearly "I don't give a shit about this car anymore" feeling to roll around.

I did just buy two new sets of tires though, winter and summer, YOLO. #tireshortage

Time to get a third set, maybe venture into Autocross, or track.

Maybe four or five just to be safe. The tire shop was PACKED and all everyone was talking about was the tire shortage. It was like in Finding Nemo where the seagulls all keep saying "mine mine mine" but they were "shortage shortage shortage." Felt like Black Friday.

Artificially driven shortages seem to happen. Last year it was toilet paper, now tires. Guess maybe they're all sitting off the port of LA somewhere.

My third set just arrived. Tough to find race tires in my size going into the winter months.... I have a few more events this fall I wanted to attend, so settled on these.

Tire Rack had a hard time even finding me just 2 R888R 225/40/18 this spring.

It was a hint to go to 265's, especially with 666hp or are we past that now

Interested to hear if you like the V730. GRM and TR favorably reviewed them, but I'm hearing mixed reviews locally, with people switching to RT660 and being happier.

Can you guys share which model Power Flex you guys used? I'm assuming that my 2020 GTI Autobahn DSG also uses the same. Also which tool you said you use to cut your puck, Any pictures?
You'll need to get under the car to see which version you need, there are two different ones and it doesn't really seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. But you specifically want the HYBRID mount, it's going to be one of these two:

As for the tool I used, https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-12-in-Tooth-Saw-with-Composite-Handle-DWHT20542/203040566 worked wonderfully. Definitely grab some blades to be on the safe side, I used hacksaw blades as the sawzall blades were too thick.
