RIP. Your sway bar is going to literally fall out next time you drive. Part out while you can 🫤

I probably need to grease all my fittings 🙁

Think it's more so they don't creak at you. Moog recommends annual flushing, I do it every few oil changes if I remember.
Dumb question, but where does the old grease go? Is there a relief valve that allows it to be pushed out as new grease is pushed in?

Rs3 brushless/ a2b harness and @arob157 lift pump for good measure.

The boot has a relief slit it oozes out of. You're supposed to flush the grease until clean grease comes out. Moogs are lightly greased with a green shelf life grease from the factory, first fill and flush should be until it turns whatever color your lube is.

Normally use a blue shop paper towel to clean off all the old grease.

General maintenance. Oil change, oil GFB DV+. Summer wheels went on. Moogs were painted with Rustoleum gloss black engine paint. Semigloss was not available at my local HD.

Worked my day job, checked out my neighbors new donor car (he’s AWD swapping his Mk6 GLI K04 with a MQB A3 so we’ll see how that goes).

Watched a DUI scooter lay it down across from the police station on St Patty’s day in the rain (a few people came out of the pizza shop & bar to help them up, so I’m guessing no additional DUI).

Cleaned up center caps off the A3 for the GLI. Not bad, definitely better than the falling apart ones I took off

If anyone needs obscure A3 parts or a OEM AWD DP let me know. DSG is up for grabs, is20, starter, brakes, chassis & engine harnesses, rear seat back, non flat bottom wheel, wheels (only one doesn’t have damage of some kind).

I have first dibs on the long block, code CNT & mine is CXC so I need to dig into differences.

Washed the beast. Haven't done a hand wash since last fall. Been to upset with it, and trying to fall back in love with it again.
