The electrodes do look worn though I think?

@Kdubya I mean.. I know the plugs are likely worn. That's why I'm swapping them out. But every site I find says brown or tan is normal .

Like, are the plugs bad as in good thing I'm replacing them? Or bad as in something is borked in the engine?

Won't know until tomorrow. Our garage door broke tonight right after I got home . The spring assist wire on the side snapped so now the door doesn't come up, and by the way steel garage doors are like 200+ lbs with no damn handle to lift it. I'll throw my purse at it in the morning.

If it's the classic rolling door, those springs at the top are no joke and pretty scary to torque to reapply tension. Helped my buddy fix his twice when the wire snapped or slipped the bottom anchor.

You're lucky it didn't hit your car. My mom's garage door spring detached at high velocity into the roof of her car. Put a big dent in it.
