Where was your oil leak at?Dropped it off at the dealership, the oil leak I thought I fixed is still there, and the water pump is leaking. I considered doing the water pump myself, but I just don’t have the time or will to take it on.
I've put probably less than 1k miles on my GTI since buying an '03 forester for $700 last year. Was supposed to be a winter beater, but its also a great car for driving to my muddy and hectic workplace, and to park in sketchy spots where door dings are likely.Online shopped so I can get rid of it. I'm honestly tired of having a daily driver that I care so much about. I got hit by a semi back in August, and now that it's finally all fixed someone hits me in a parking lot and doesn't leave a note. I just need a beater that I drive every day and don't give a shit about.
Love me a Fozzie…. Which engine?I've put probably less than 1k miles on my GTI since buying an '03 forester for $700 last year. Was supposed to be a winter beater, but its also a great car for driving to my muddy and hectic workplace, and to park in sketchy spots where door dings are likely.
its a 2.5 NA with the 5 speed. I'd like to find a clean XT for the same use case and douse it in fluid film, but that would likely cost me like 10x as much as my rusty XS.Love me a Fozzie…. Which engine?
I’ve never messed with a setup like that. What is the feedback through the wheel like? I’m sure you get what you pay for with a gaming setup.
It's surprisingly good.. kind of hard to explain through text but it feels pretty natural. It's an entry level setup so nothing crazy but still tons of fun. This rig was more to test the waters, might move up to a more hardcore setup like Fanatec but those get silly expensive quick.I’ve never messed with a setup like that. Spulen and ECS have new bleeder blocks available but personally I'd try to just replace the bleeder piece from the dealer if possibleMy bleeder block decided to blow today. Top piece is gone. Driving normal went to shift into gear n clutch just popped to the floor quickly n stay there. Anyone can lead me to the right direction? Should I order a new bleeder block?
I also got a leaking iAbed RMS could that caused this?
Previous block had the yellow delay valve removed.
