Installed the ecs throttle body spacer boost tap to complete the boost gauge install. Wife was not amused about me ripping apart the new car, but we compromised. Didn't get many pictures, this was actually last night and it was getting dark.

Today I installed some led strip lights in my footwell. I used one of the spare toggle switches that came on my uniwerks vent pod. Next project is the lighting in the trunk.

Flashed IE Stage 1 high torque. It seems like the torque lost to the Fluidampr (which I installed 10 days ago) at <3000 rpm gets made up for by the high torque file. In the end, it's a wash which is fine for my stock clutch.🤦🏻‍♂️IMG_20200616_214910506.jpg

Installed Neuspeed 25mm solid rear bar... torsion beam rear on the TDI... bar does attach in a way that strongly suggests it will reduce twisting of the beam, including backing plates that go inside the beam, kind of a pain to install. Probably post impressions in my build thread in a couple weeks. Didn't grab a post-install pic but I'll snap one tomorrow.

Fluidampr cause you to lose torque?

Hey Jim.

According to the butt dyno...so your mileage may vary...but yeah...torque seemed to be down noticeably below 3000 rpm.

Fluidampr is heavier rotational force being swapped in.

So it's mainly to reduce harmonic vibrations which improves engine protection? Why does Fluidampr then claim that it unleashes lost torque and HP?
What I can tell so far...above ~3800 rpm the engine is noticeably smoother and seems to make more tq and hp. Again...butt dyno...all caveats apply.
