What did you do to your mk7 today?

Right on! I ALWAYSSSS wanted an Avant and almost bought one before I got the GTI but I didnt want to continue worrying about cam followers and million little things that B7's are plagued with. That said, I still wish i still had my B7 A4 though - such a fun car to drive but it's in good hands now.

You'll be soo happy with the work that TLC does! Dave and John do some awesome stuff! I'm actually going back there in the middle of August to get tints installed and give my HRE's some Modesta love.

Just reading the term "cam follower" gave me chills. Mine went even though I had it replaced as required... $3,700 later I had a new top end on my '08 Ibis white A4 avant Ti...

Miss the hell out of that car, but I've found so many things I absolutely adore with these MK7's! I'll be getting a clear bra soon, as I do a lot of road trips with this car, but I'd love to bring it to them eventually to get protected.

After three years of ownership finally decided to purchase and install a CTS downpipe w/ Vibrant J spacer and CTS CAI. I also did a quick oil change. Last week completed my 40k DSG service using one of the DIY tutorials on this site.

NOTE: My downpipe removal (Terrible experience) and install (Extremely simple) was a nightmare, your mileage may vary.

Man that's really slick it reminds me of old video game mods where you extract and replace textures etc. Very cool! Also jealous you figured out how to add the boost monitor and off-road screens! Great work!
Haha thanks! My "roots" are in game modifications: I started with making my own paintjobs in Nascar Racing (Papyrus, 1997), and after that I started making custom cars for Need for Speed 2, 3 and 4.

I hope we can make this kinds of mods to be installed over SD.

And the boost monitor isn't something we can enable by modding, the off-road monitor can be enabled with VCDS/VCP/Obd11

You wont regret using TLC! Also you've have some unicorn cars! Ibis Ti Avant and now Great Falls Green GTI! I can see you love having unique cars in the garage

Our Pentium 133mhz had a tough time with it unless you turned detail way down. Sounded good through the Sounbdblaster card tho.

Oh wow, now that’s bringing me back in time...ah the good old days of (early) PC gaming.

My first business nearly went belly up because of Doom. We were supposed to be providing IT support, but we couldn’t break away from the LAN that we had built in the office. [emoji851]

Sounded good through the Sounbdblaster card tho. Feeling old yet? :D

I never got to own a Soundblaster card, but I once (stupidly) bought a Voodoo3 3000 instead of paying my mortgage!!

It felt great at the time and for a while and a long time after...

...but playing Unreal and Quake was amazing...!! ...and then Half Life came along... [emoji3]

I remember having to snap memory chips onto the board to upgrade the video memory on a Hewlett Packard Pentium 133 tower.
