Installed my golf r calipers that I repainted ages ago. Installed the new calipers, the new rotors, and bled the lines. Rotated tires. Went out and bed the rotors with the pads (you'll notice these rotors are fully painted in this photo). Fremax rotors from ngp. Pretty pleased with them so far. I'll chime in as I daily drive them some more.

 i've heard of it as an option over the organic corrosion inhibitors that some rotors come with. Perk is that this keeps the rotor hats nice and fresh looking too. We'll see how they do. I expect them do as well as the centric blanks. Paint goes away within minutes of a few spirited braking maneuvers. Only a little smokey after a few mile spin around town. Nothing noticeable (smell or sound) this morning on the commute.

Tried out my new extractor. Worked great except for the tube collapsing some since I had the oil a little too hot, but it still did a good job. The Mityvac 7400 I had started leaking through the handle after a few changes, like they all do eventually, and I didn't feel like doing the fix so I got this one on Amazon for $55 instead. We'll see how it holds up.

Changed my oil yesterday. Second time using the schwaben oil extractor. Best tool I’ve ever bought! Changing my oil was a breeze.
(That’s my wife’s Mini Cooper S next to my car, if anyone was wondering)

That's pretty slick. Guess that's another item added to my shopping cart. Thanks for the recommendation.

Upgraded the oem exhaust tips. Because dp+oem catback is loud enough.

Installed my APR pendulum mount this morning...already had the dogbone insert, will be reviewing it in the next couple days, so far I've taken one test drive around the block and I'm really happy with this vs just the dogbone insert, huge difference in the 1-2 shift (I'm manual) and decrease in NVH from just the insert (yes, decrease)
