Wheel Sealing

Took all 4 wheels off and washed and sealed them ready for the winter months.

Using Autobrite Verry Berry Wheel Sealant for the first time

Jacked up and wheel off

Used bilberry and bucket of shampoo to clean the wheels

After an IPA wipe down applied the sealant and buffed off after 10 mins

Sealed and shiny

Once all the wheels were back on the car I applied a second coat to the faces

got 100 miles on the ODO. Took my family in the car, they said my car can kill a 3 series in comfort department haha and due to run flats, they're right. Loving it more everyday. Bringing to the dealer to do the cilajet tomorrow!!

They are replica headlights for factory halogen cars sold by Ed from BEC auto parts.

How did you get inner U drl to illuminate like golf Rs do?

It's because Ed is selling golf R replicas that have the red stripe now. The lighting package has the Orange "amber" reflectors and only 1 LED DRL. These R replicas have 2 LED DRL's (inner and outer" and NO Orange reflector. I didn't know this when I bought them I was buying with them mainly for the cool flashy red stripe but I'm not complaining. I know these aren't VW quality and may not last the test of time but I have a 1 yr warranty and they look amazing at night and in daylight

Did a ~500mi each-way road trip this past weekend for my son's scuba diving certification. The way out was US highway mountain, town & curves (lots of fun 4th gear passing) and the way back was interstate cruising.

Trip MPG: 38.7, crushing my expectations.
