The OEM+ mission continues with a full OEM MIB2 Discover Pro retrofit features:

8" screen.
Frame.
Replacing MDI old cable with USB calbe.
MIB2 glovebox unit with WiFi.
64gb internal SSD.
Apple CarPlay.
Android Auto with google maps.
Video in motion.
MirrorLink.
Think Blue moitors.
Performance Monitors. (Boost, G force gauges, PSI...etc).
OffRoad Monitors.
2017/2018 ROW (middle east) map data.
Truly a monumental upgrade over the 5.8" MIB1 system.

Took about 30 min to remove the MIB I units (5.8 inch)




And reinstalling everything took about 2-4 ours with a friend helping me





And I followed exactly the instructions on this video

....driven out to see family, and expect the missy to drive the GTD home after I had few scoops with my dad. Sounds easy, but the last time we was in this situation she curbed 2xfreshly refurbished alloys on my Audi S4.... Blah....!!!

I've owned my GTI for exactly two weeks, and today was first first mod: aspherical mirrors (blue tinted). Took all of ten minutes to swap and man what a difference. Up next, window tint!
