I am searching for good set of LED fog lamps in Germany for my Mk7 Estate but couldn't find one yet.

Hey

Yes these are Cree LED's - H11 bulbs at 50watt

I could have gone brighter but I wanted a fairly bright DRL Fog to go along with the Xenon+ headlights and the colour is exactly the same.
FYI you will need an inline resistor to cancel the code error on the Fog bulb - this is the only one that has thrown up an error out of EVERY bulb on the car becoming Cree LED

Just two things to mention for anyone reading this, I personally have angled down the fogs to as low as they can point so that they project no more than a few feet.

For anyone interested in extra lighting around their tailgate I spotted this 3D printed LED light that VW America made for their Golf Country Concept, fitting into the warning triangle holder in the boot lid.
As I don't have these facilities, I have created my own take on this and will soon be posting up a thread of my build.

Just curious. Did you retrofit your front fogs? And where did you buy them? Thanks.

Had no idea that 2017 was when they nixed the fog lights from the PP GTI. So wait... no fogs is a PP thing or a Sport thing?

Grrr that pisses me off even more!!! Still have no idea why VW would do this.

It's a Sport thing (and an S thing obviously)

Only the sport trim lacks fogs. The S still gets them. I'd trade fogs for standard xenon any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
