Finally got around to getting tint. 35% on door windows, 25% on hatch, and 5%/limo on the sunroof, all carbon film. The tint shop surprised me by doing the small windows by the side mirrors!

This is what I got - I had touch-up paint and clear coat already $12 from VW dealer.

Wait.. you'd rather have plugs showing and a side-saddle license plate, than just leave the plate where it was and no exposed holes? That seems bizarre.

Correct, it's not a show car, it has stone chips, it gets dirty, a few small bumps in the front will be noticed by nobody more than 6 ft from my car. I ordered the tow-bar holder, but will most likely keep it in the trunk in case of a fix-it ticket, I will see what it looks like.

Agreed x2. Sorry. The whole point of the side mount was so you didn't have to drill holes. The holes are already there, so not sure why you want to go from 1 ugly thing to 2 ugly things.

Ok so I went to the US millworks website and could not find in the description that says they are only for bumpers that have not been previously drilled.
Picky....perhaps...but like I said if it was a show car, the bumper would be replaced, it's not it's a 70mile/day DD. I need a front lic plate, the big lump of black plastic was ugly, the toe plate is a smaller better design, the bumps won't be noticed by anyone I don't care about so to call it ugly is moot.

Thanks, I got a pure white/clear coat touch up stick set from a VW dealer for $12 which matched the car.

Thanks Pyzon! Some of us don't need a front plate, but our idiotic out of state dealer drilled 5 holes anyway.

The dealer drilled the holes and I was blown. Luckily unlucky for me, I hit an object and had to get my front bumper replaced. Needless to say, I didn't have the holes drilled this time, and I also use the US Mill Works mount.
