Finally removed the Clutch Damper from the GTI and the Sportwagen TDI! Huge difference on the GTI, less so on the diesel but still a worthwhile effort! Why did I wait so long??

It's not my cup of tea either, but if it makes you happy, that's cool. There are a ton of modded cars in my area that have stuff I'd never do, but it's cool to chat with the owner and be able to relate with the addiction, regardless of the approach.

Hey question for you: On the rear window shade, there were the two black J clips and a long silver metal clip, curved opposite ways on each end. I had no idea where the silver clip went and the instructions didn't make it clear. I left it out, but I'd like to add it if I can figure out where the **** it goes. Any idea?

The long silver clip curved at each end is to pry the pieces apart to make insertion easier.
Had the damn thing in my cup holder... made all kinds of a mess when I stuck a styrofoam steak and shake cup in there....
