What did you do to your mk7 today?

At least one of my injectors croaked on me last year at like 90k miles, at 12:30am, after a 15 hour work day. Thankfully I was like 2 miles from home when the car entered 2 stroke single cylinder mode, and I was able to limp my way on the empty city streets on 7% throttle pretending I was riding a John Deere. I know now the car was being dramatic to protect itself, but at the time I thought it was toast.

What's the $$ damage on swapping in new injectors? Specific tools needed? Be sure to buy seals or anything fancy that doesn't come with....?

Removal tool optional. New injectors should come with seals installed.

Otherwise $40 for something like one of these. I bought it specifically for the seal dies. Never used the little slide hammer removal tool, but the dies worked fine. No leaks.

Real cheapskates will do it with zip ties, but why risk it.

isn't limo tint like 5%? I have 35 all around lol but yeah I feel that. Im originally from NY and I remember getting pulled over like 4 times for having 70% so when I moved to florida I really went all in.. no-one even bats at eye here regarding tint, its kinda needed in the summer. Also, I might sell these smoked tails and get red ones as I do kinda miss that look but thanks man, appreciate it

What did you have to do to get those tail lights to work? I've been eyeing those aftermarket euro style lights for a minute, but they didn't seem plug and play from what I read

I thought the aftermarket ones weren't as straight forward to fit (in terms of wiring and coding) because most of them are for MK7 and not 7.5s?

Shimmed valves on our CRF150R (22hp children’s rocket ship that revs to 14k RPM). Kinda dumb you have to remove the cam to adjust valves.

Mk7 Oil pan got a Tiguan gasket

Some mystery wagon went under the knife for a turbo, FMIC, charge pipes and a DP.

Anyone know what this thing is?!

It looks like a Buick logo on the centercaps, is that the crosstour X or whatever they call it? I've always liked them and felt weird admitting it
