Aftermarket sunroof?? Some people just want to watch the world burn.
Well you got to remember It’s a 40 year old car times were different back then.

Yes, I had the stock 15” wheels on my GTI but the 16’s really made the car pop. I’m going to get them in 19” for my 21 GTI.
Thanks, already know about it. Really want a round headlight version, and preferrably the quad headlights. I know that potentially means a Euro-only special edition like a Pirelli/Campaign. :(
I see I like the European front end myself, but I wanted to keep mine original the best I could. I had to update the headlights because my eyes aren’t like they used to be especially at night.

On a sidenote, I installed my CTS turbo inlet pipe along with 034 motorsport silicone hose. Had a little bit of trouble installing the CTS inlet pipe the hole didn’t want to line up to tighten it down, but eventually, I got it.

I recently bought the car it came with the APR intake. I just wanted to add the two supporting parts. I was planning to do high torque APR stage 1 but I stopped by my local Volkswagen dealership today and spoke with someone I knew and he was telling me my car has the extended turbo warranty along with the water pump along with front end warning system so I asked him if I were to add software would it affect those three warranties? He said yes on two of them. So I decided to keep it stock.
I was hoping it also had the extended warranty for the sunroof which he said it doesn’t but when I put my Vin number into the settlement site it states my car is part of it. I spoke with Volkswagen customer service this morning, but they told me the same that my car is not part of that particular warranty, which sucks. I know how Volkswagen is with the leaking sunroof. I had to have my headliner along with all the sunroof drains replaced on my 12 TDI Golf.

Nothing exciting, but the driver side Tuxmat floormat in my car was starting to wear after ~8 years/70k. I was looking to replace just the fronts, but Tuxmat only sells full sets now. I can't justify $200 on new mats to just replace one that's worn. On a whim, I emailed them to inquire if buying just the fronts was remotely an option and was told no, they only sell full sets now to streamline things. The person did suggest sending in a pic of my mat as it may be a candidate for a warranty replacement. I sent them a pic, it got approved, and within like 3 days, I had a brand new driver side mat! I was shocked that they offered to do that and floored that it arrived so quickly! Fantastic customer service from Tuxmat.

The OE battery gave up the ghost after a few ~35* overnights, and, you know, about 5 years....

Dropped in a new DLG H6, and didn't even have to code it as the main settings were the same :)
Doubly happy about that when I realized my OBD11 needed to have the subscription renewed for around $85....
Seriously thinking about VagCom now! I don't code all that often anymore, but when I need it, I need it...

Battery cover fits, I just haven't put it back on yet

Um sir, I believe you are lifting the inside front tire.
To my eye, it just looks more like the static negative camber setting on the inside tire when leaning over into a turn. I can’t see daylight between the inside of the tire and the track…

Since it's lifting the inner tire, it will be lifting the inner side first, where you can see daylight clearly:
