I've installed my factory rack with the Inno wedge box (13 cu ft). Ready for our snowboard season! This cargo box is the perfect fit for the mk7 size and proportion and I love how the lines of this box matches the lines on the hood and the end of the box match the rear wing. This Inno wedge is an injected mold super rigid and strong, nothing to be shy next to a Thule (that I previously own). When the box is installed, the wind noise from the rack become almost inaudible. I went out with my dslr camera to remind me how much better it is vs an iphone...

Reinstalled the is20, OEM DP and stock plugs. Removed the EQT charge pipes and started disassembly to remove the fmic. With a kid home sick and a new puppy it was a busy day. The DP heat shield/bracket inner bolt on the block was the biggest pita but I managed to dislocate my fingers to get it installed. 
Plan to flash back to slow, finish off the exhaust tonight and slap the stock wheels and go for a spin.

Does anyone have experience with the Porterfield R4-S? I'm thinking about swapping to them from my Hawk HPS in my ST-60. I'm looking for something with a bit more initial bite.

Good initial bite, pretty dusty. Have had them on both my ST40 kits, no complaints at any temp. A little squeaky on first stop when really cold (<20F), but quiets down after

Replaced engine and transmission mounts on the R today. Has done 70,000kms and the transmission mount was absolutely shot. Is that roughly normal..?

The Germans really do think of everything. 42 12 packs will fit behind the rear seat and below the parcel shelf of a GSW. Smokey and the Bandit just needed to wait for the Mk7s to come out. Another maybe 1.5-2" wider and it would have fit 48.
