That looks really good. Probably a stupid question but you make something similar to a trackslag?

So in the sense of both offering 4” yes, similar not really. Mine features an emissions compliant GESI Gen2 400 cell cat rated for 850hp (and properly located so it actually works).

I’m the only one in the industry offering 3.5” beyond the downpipe, in this case replacing the first section of a 3” Borla CBE in 3.5”.

I was looking for Trackslag sizing, but catted. I guess I will be talking to you in the future lol. What does yours sell for? Would be mating up to my AWE Track exhaust. I currently have an Unitronic supplied coupler pipe that joins my Unitronic DP to the AWE.

As much as I HATE interior work I couldn’t stand the sloppy shifter anymore.

Tore into it and I think the plastic on plastic wear is way beyond what a Super Pin can repair.

@El_bigote_AJ didn’t you do a full replacement?
Well in that case… perfect time to do a “may as well”

lol.

But yes, I did swap mine out fully and have the young oem assemble with a superpin, and the other little diesel geek bushing on it already sitting on a shelf in the garage 😀

If I didn’t Already have sigma 6, and more importantly my custom shifter boot bezel I would just bite the bullet on the CAE version with their cables and linkage , cause I like the height more. But it won’t fit with the bezel and I’m not getting rid of that.

I knew I could count on you to be a “bad” influence.

Down the rabbit hole again lol.

Not sure how I feel about a shifter that tall, I do acknowledge however that I need to consider a sigma 6 and superpin.

Currently (lazily) working on dialing in my Sigma 6. I think I'm a thread/tooth or two off, it shifts but isn't buttery smooth. Seems as though if it's correct, it's very good, but mine needs some work. May just do the rest of the stuff DG offers as well when springtime comes around.

For an easy improvement over stock, you can't beat the little delrin bushing inserts though. Really takes a lot of slop out, though it's still not perfect.

Where did you get the bushing from? I already have the Sigma six bookmarked somewhere.

I have the shifter cable bushings on top of the transmission , the Vw Audi short shifter, a weighted shift knob as well as the diesel geek super pin and I’m still not 100% happy with it

The sigma 6 is definitely next on my list for sure- there is still slop unfortunately

If I owned a manual, I'd likely get the tallest shifter. Closing the gap between steering wheel and shifter means less time with one hand on the wheel.
Yep. I have all the shifter improvements, but using a Golf R shifter in a regular Golf actually puts it pretty high. I think the base on regular Golfs is different. I rather like it as I've never liked a little stub. Didn't think i have a pic unfortunately
