I ordered my third set of MPSAS4 today.

Getting about 25k per set, with zero complaints for a daily all season tire that’ll still hold its own against summer tires up in the mountains.

They didn’t give me the 25% discount for failing to get anywhere near the 45k tread wear warranty, and they did clock in at about $300 more than the set I bought two years ago, but man do I love some American made quality (and all weather grip).

These are my favorite all-seasons too, I run them on my daily driver A4 and got ~25k out of my last set as well. Like you said great performance on twisty roads and still decent enough for winter use. I drove up to Vermont on them last winter and it did fine, my winters ended up staying in the shed the whole season.

after a long wait of fuckery my front dampers are complete, rears need a few remaining tweaks.

Swapped coil packs and new plugs gapped to .028 from .032 hopefully that gets rid of the ghost misfires.

Picked her up from the dealer for the (hopefully) last of the warranty work. They noticed some fluid under the car when doing the suction pump recall, turns out there were some bad seals in the diff lock. Second time since I've owned it that a differential seal has needed replacing; glad it was simple enough but a bit concerning. They also agreed to replace the sunroof surround under warranty for the tiny cracks that started appearing in the corners so calling that a W all around.

Granted I’m not an engineer, but minimum wall thickness for a structural mounting hole is definitely a thing.
