I'll have to check mine. Good to know, I hate that they use a flat bottomed screw as opposed to a pointy one.Had two screws from my Aerofabb sideskirts back themselves out on the leading edge of the driver's side. Replaced said screws with some pop rivets and had to tighten nearly every single other screw, as they weren't even hand tight anymore. (For) now they're solid.
Keep us posted if you ever figure out the brake pedal slack at the top; mine has had the same since the brakes were first bled last year and so far nothing anyone has tried has corrected it.It cooled off over weekend and was quite nice outside, so I took advantage of that and worked on the rear wing, started over and sanded everything back down and laid the silver paint down. I let that dry then got the part to paint black taped off and ready to go. That is where I left off with that. Went for a drive and still noticing brake pedal slack at initial travel. Tried clearing the error for the airbag light but that was short-winded as it came right back on. My only guess is I missed something when the Recaros went in. It still amazes me at how fast my GTi is compared to a normal car. I didnt get on it, but even half throttle and a couple seconds of boost is loads of fun.
Will do, it's going to the Euro specialist shop here in town that did my clutch. I have personally seen them work on a Gallardo and a older Ferrari, and these guys have an awesome reputation. They take pics of whatever they find and diagnose and email them to you. I am taking the GTI to them to put in the new Hawk pads and diagnose the brake pedal here in the very near future.Keep us posted if you ever figure out the brake pedal slack at the top; mine has had the same since the brakes were first bled last year and so far nothing anyone has tried has corrected it.
